What is Sustainable Councils?

Sustainable Councils is Australia’s national sustainability conference and exhibition bringing local governments together to build a sustainable future.

Established in 2009, Sustainable Councils has evolved to be more than just a conference and now includes a regularly updated website and fortnightly e-newsletter that is sent to hundreds of local government subscribers around the country. 

The website is the platform for local governments to share case studies between every annual conference. It is well on the way to becoming Australia’s premier site for knowledge sharing and communication of sustainability related information between local governments.
